Most photography is quoted after a conversation, which means the number depends on what the photographer thinks you will pay. Publishing a starting price for every session removes that, and it is the reason the figures here are lower than they would be if you had to ask: a published price has to be defensible to everyone reading it, not just to the person in front of you.

The starting price covers the photographer’s time on the session, the selection, the colour work, and a private gallery in full resolution with a licence to print and post. The number of edited photographs is stated per service rather than described as "a selection". There is no per-image charge and no retouching sold separately afterwards.

What moves the price is time and scope rather than anything hidden. A longer session, a second photographer, twenty-four-hour delivery: each of those is listed as an option and quoted before you book. Travel inside the area you booked is included, and the towns covered from each place are listed on its page so there is nothing to discover afterwards.

Two things do move it and both are seasonal rather than negotiable. A Saturday in May or June is the communion season and is priced as peak because it is the one date that cannot be moved; so is a wedding date between May and October. Everything else — a Tuesday in February in Granada, a weekday morning in Seville in November — is the published figure, and those are also the months with the best light of the year.

Nothing is due to get a quote. If the weather turns, the session moves at no cost; if what you receive is not what was described, you are refunded. Those two sentences are the whole of the guarantee and they are not conditional on anything.
